About Expressions

Brenda, the owner of Expressions, has had a long history of working with crafts including painting, sketching, and later ceramic pieces. She created them simply as a hobby for display in her home, which then grew due to outside interest into making personalized tile picture frames of wedding pictures, first year baby pictures, anniversary photos, and more.

Expressions was started on the idea of capturing and displaying photographs of family and children in unique ways. Our fresco tile framing techniques and ideas have been perfected over the past few years by emulating the style in rich European architecture and structures using fresco, faux, stone, and marble type finishes. Our decorative tile picture framing process was created using imagination, mixing, experimenting, and combining different techniques to produce a unique, beautiful, and conversation-grabbing portrait on a custom designed fresco tile.

The process for producing a high quality product evolved through a meticulous attention to detail. The Expressions decorative fresco tile construction had to meet the strictest of quality control standards. All early fresco tiles were subject to freezing temperatures, high humidity, and increased temperatures and potentially harmful environments. The Expressions tile framing procedures withstood all extreme conditions that would cause normal fresco tiles to split or crack.

After continued and extensive experimentation, our decorative tile photos are now available online for purchase and are an excellent gift idea for so many special occasions.
